The Mission:
Fixing a Broken System
A lack of coverage is a problem for everyone:
- Patients ignore health problems until they become an emergency
- Health Systems suffer crippling financial pressures
- Payers lose critical revenue for patient care
Escher Health was designed to address these urgent national needs.
For us, every enrollment matters because of the person on the other end who is blocked from healthcare access through no fault of their own. Our goal is to lighten the patient’s burden and make healthcare more affordable and equitable for all.
How Escher Health was Born

I became a doctor because I deeply care about the health of the people around me. I became an engineer because I love efficiency.
During medical training, I was often frustrated to see patients who were eligible for programs like Medicaid, but not enrolled.
I saw many problems with the standard enrollment process, and set out to create a solution. In doing so, I asked questions like:
- How can we motivate more patients to get coverage?
- How can we make the enrollment journey easier?
- Why are patients falling through the cracks?
- Are there ways to leverage the latest technology like AI to make things more efficient?
The result is Escher Health, which launched in 2020, and has helped over 200,000 patients get through their enrollment journey.
